Trim sheets are textures which tile in the Horizontal (U) or Vertical (V) direction. These are used to promptly insert depth to an asset with otherwise simple geometry as they often consist of multiple trim factors which may be UV mapped onto an asset to add the illusion of a greater degree of depth
